10 Facts You Should Know About imool

It’s the coolest, quickest way of changing up your look. Celebs love them and so should you. But are they safe to try? Read on to find out how to make them work for you and add sparkle to your gaze.

Imool are the same as regular ones. There’s nothing different about them except the fact that they’re colored. If you regularly wear Imool contact lenses and are used to them, you’ll be absolutely fine handling Imool colored contact lenses ones as well.

Often regular contact lens wearers complain of a little discomfort initially. That’s because colored lenses can be a bit thicker than regular ones so need a little getting used to. On the plus side, thicker lenses are easier to inset and remove.

You can try colored contacts even if you have perfect vision. Or not. Color contacts are available in a wide range of powers from +6 to -8, including zero power. But the only real way to know your vision and make sure your eyes are in good shape is to first consult an ophthalmologist before selecting colored lenses.

Even if you know your vision is perfect, do meet an eye doctor before choosing colored lenses. After all, all contacts—clear or colored—are serious medical devices that can potentially damage your eyes. Order your favorite hue only after your eye doctor gives you the go ahead. It’s also a good idea to order your lenses from an authorized retailer. Don’t pick up lenses from just about anywhere because they’re cheap; your eyes are at stake!

NEVER EVER share your lenses with friends. Swapping lenses is like sharing toothbrushes! You can get a nasty eye infection. Plus, your friend’s contacts might not be the right ones for you.

Even if you wear regular lenses, or has astigmatism, you can still wear colored contact lenses. Luckily, there are colored contacts for pretty much everyone, though some types, like those for people with specific eye conditions such as astigmatism, might be more expensive.

Coloured lenses are NOT bad for you, provided you buy a reputable brand like FreshLook. Such lenses come from the same manufacturers and are made from the same materials as normal everyday lenses, so from a health perspective they can be just as good as a non-coloured lens.

There’s no upper age limit for contact lens wear. Sure, your prescription can become more complex as you age, but contact lenses can correct the majority of prescriptions that spectacles can, even if you start to need help at both distance and near. Colored contact lenses also come in prescription strength.

Unlike what you’ve heard, contact lenses will not fall out of your eyes! Soft lenses are fitted to sit snugly on the front surface of the eye so they are very unlikely to pop out. Even for those that play high impact sport, soft lenses are very unlikely to fall out.

Contact lenses—colored or plain—will not cause eye infections. If you care for your eyes and lenses properly, infections are extremely rare. Daily disposables are excellent from both a convenience and a hygiene perspective. If you wear reusable lenses, simply follow the instructions on the box about storage and cleaning.
